Heterochromia

Kittens are born without melanin in their irises, which makes their eyes look blue. Shortly afterwards, melanin accumulates in their irises, coloring their eyes. In cats, or humans, with heterochromia, melanin only builds up in one eye, leaving the other eye blue.

Kali has one green eye and one blue eye, and a very sharp eye for food.
